Matwork Classes are instructor directed sessions in the classical format. We offer Beginner Levels 1 & 2 and Intermediate Levels 1 & 2, and have specialty classes which incorporate small equipment such as stability balls and foam rollers. There is a maximum participation of 9-12, depending on the class being offered. These classes are most suitable for those who are healthy and fit, not for rehabilitation. Led Reformer Classes are instructor directed sessions using the main piece of Pilates equipment, the reformer. In this class a maximum of 6 participants follow the instructor and perform the same set of exercises and stretches at the same pace. This is a good way to add in variety to a Mat work based Pilates routine. These classes are most suitable for those who are healthy and fit, not for rehabilitation work.

Cardio & Fitness Classes

Zumba Fit is a fitness class based on Latin dance steps and rhythms. It combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. Suitable for all levels.

Thursdays 5:30pm

Modern Dance with Olivia Shaffer is a movement class based on discovering one's body from the inside out. By exploring elements of weight, suspension, body patterning and spatial awareness, participants will expand their knowledge of and appreciation for their own bodies.  Class begins with a gentle warm-up, preparing the body for simple dance combinations and exercises.  Movements from class are influenced by Olivia's eclectic background
in dance, including studies in ballet, contemporary, jazz, contact improv and African. 

Wednesdays 10:30am-12pm

Nia Dance is a transformational dance and movement practice, that draws on aspects of the dance arts, healing arts and martial arts done in barefoot to great music!  Strength, flexibility, centeredness and stress relief are some of the benefits of this dynamic joy of movement. Suitable for all levels. 

Tuesdays 5:30pm

In Studio Matwork Privates may be booked on demand.
All classes are 1 hour long unless indicated otherwise. Private sessions are booked by appointment only. Please Contact the Studio to make a booking or for more information. For Matwork Private prices click HERE.

All registrations require pre-payment or a valid credit card number to hold your place. To AVOID CANCELLATION CHARGES: notification of withdrawal must be received 3 business days Prior to the start date of the Class. All withdrawals received with LESS than 3 business days notice will have payment in FULL processed.

We reserve the right to cancel classes at any time, due to insufficient enrollment.
No Refunds or Discounts will be given on missed classes or series of classes.
Transferring missed classes to another person is not permitted.
Transferring missed classes to a future session is not permitted.

When registering for a series, you are purchasing ALL the classes in that series during the applicable session dates.

Please ensure you arrive on time for your class. The studio reserves the right to refuse late entry into classes if you arrive more than 10 minutes later than the scheduled start time.

Missed classes may be made up within the SAME session ONLY, however this is strictly subject to space availability in an appropriate level and is not guaranteed.
Missed classes may NOT be made up in, nor can a discount for missed classes be applied to, future classes.
Missed Classes at one location CANNOT be made up at an alternate location.
A make up class can be scheduled with reception only (not electronically) up to 48 hours in advance.

Session: A session refers to the start month and end month of a particular offering of classes, such as June-August, 2008
Series: A series refers to the individual class type (mat or led reformer) and time. Each series is 1 class per week during the session dates listed, such as Mondays 6:30 pm (session dates June 16 - August 25)
.

The $10 discount applies to the 2nd series of classes purchased in same session, at Pilates Unlimited location only per person (doing 2 or more classes per week).
